Volunteering just one week of the year to the WHO Program has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. I have met some wonderful people with inspiring stories, and have enjoyed bringing hope and comfort to those in need.

Food Delivery Liaisons - St. Andrew/ St. Paul

This is a great option for those who need a more flexible volunteer schedule or would prefer daytime involvement.

Each week, volunteer picks up donated food from sponsoring organizations and delivers it to either St. Andrew Lutheran or St. Paul.

Overnight Shelter Volunteers

This a wonderful opportunity to meet other volunteers and hear inspiring stories from our guests.

Duties may include: greeting guests, serving/preparing food, safety checks, collecting bedding, wake up calls, general hospitality.

Laundry Liaisons - St. Andrew

This position requires transportation and a valid drivers license.

At the end of each week, volunteer picks up used linens from St. Andrew Lutheran, delivers to Share Homestead for laundering, and returns to the shelter by the beginning of the week.
